Hey Dripping Springs! It is Tuesday at 2:00 PM and you know what that means! It is time for another episode of the Weekly Drip! We are officially in Season 7, Episode 4 and I am just buzzing with excitement about today’s topic! If you missed the live show, you can catch the whole replay right here on YouTube. Go ahead and give it a watch because we had some major girl power energy going on in the studio!
Amber was the mastermind behind this week’s theme. We do a lot of business hyping on this show, but we realized we don’t do nearly enough specific shout-outs for the people behind the businesses. Specifically, the badass women in our community who are absolutely killing it! We are so blessed to live in a place full of inspiring women who push everyone around them to be better. We couldn’t possibly get to all of them, but we picked a handful that really deserve a massive brag session!
The Fearless Leaders of the Drip
We had to start the list with the one and only Michelle Wendt. She is the owner of Indigo Healing and Acupuncture and she is a total powerhouse! Not only is she helping so many people in our community get their health back on track, but she is also the fearless leader of MPower! You might know it as the Mama’s Margaritas Meetups. It is a networking group with over 1,300 women now! Michelle has created such a special, supportive space for women in business to connect and grow. She is a wonderful friend and a huge support system for all of us!
Then we have Ashleigh! She recently purchased the Radiance Dome off of 1826 and has transformed it into Earth Drifters. If you haven’t been out there yet, you have to go! It is such a unique space for yoga, meditation, sound baths, and retreats. It is all about feeding your innermost self and finding space to reflect. We are so lucky she is opening that space up to the community!

Strength, Wellness, and Collaboration
Next up is Draven Lane, the owner of Fire and Flow Pilates. I am constantly impressed by how Draven collaborates with other local businesses. Whether it is a giveaway, a raffle, or a special event, she is always pulling other women-owned businesses into the mix! She is actually opening her second location soon, which is just incredible!
Speaking of being strong and empowered, we have to talk about the Queens and Iron event! It is happening this weekend, February 28th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Kodiak Strength. It is a women’s powerlifting competition right here in Dripping Springs! People are coming from all over to compete. There will be food from Blue Smoke BBQ, Drip Nutrition, and Odd Pops. It is going to be a huge day of women supporting women! Amber shared how Ali and the team at Kodiak have helped her get back into moving her body and hitting goals she never thought possible. That is what this community is all about!
The Multi-Tasking Mavens
Carly Garrett is another name that was at the top of our list! I honestly don’t know how she does it all. She runs Travel Too (your go-to travel agency), owns Hill Country Hands to keep Drip clean, and she is a personal trainer! On top of all that, she is a mama to a bunch of kids. Her bandwidth far exceeds mine, and she does it all so flawlessly!
We also have to give a shout-out to MJ Saunders with Austin Imaging and Labs. You might remember her business as See My Baby Live, where mamas could go to see their little ones in utero. Now she has expanded into all kinds of diagnostic support and imaging services. It is such a vital service for our area!
And we can’t forget Dr. Morgan Zupan! She is one of my favorite chiropractors and just a light in the community. When she walks into a room, it literally glows! She has such a positive impact on everyone she meets!
Making Magic Happen
When it comes to the business side of things, Kimberly Watson at All Star Bank is a total legend. She is my first call whenever I have a client with a “weird” or unique loan situation. She makes magical things happen for people trying to build their dreams! Plus, fun fact: she is a badass hot rodder! How cool is that?
We also want to highlight Stacey, who creates the most exquisite charcuterie boards, and Brooke Bell & Co. for her beautiful embroidery work! These are the types of services that add so much charm and personality to our town!

A Quick Community Note: Best of Dripping Springs!
While we are talking about all these amazing businesses, don’t forget that the Best of Dripping Springs voting is happening right now! You have until March 9th to cast your votes!
We would be so honored if you voted for us! Ashley Tullis is in the running for Best Realtor. It was such a huge year in 2025: Ashley actually sold more houses than anyone else in the Dripping Springs Independent School District! If you are looking at Dripping Springs homes for sale or thinking about selling your home, you want the number one agent in the district on your side!
Also, our Weekly Drip Book Club is in the running for Best Social Club! We do that club for free just to support our library and hang out with people we love, so being on that list is a total honor!
Spotlight on Our Schools and Neighborhoods
I also want to mention the work being done on the SLAC committee with the school district! I am one of five parents representing our schools to help look at the books in our libraries based on new guidelines. 3 out of the 5 parents on that committee are actually members of our book club! We are very passionate bibliophiles over here!
Whether you live in Highpointe, Belterra, or Headwaters, these women-owned businesses are part of what makes our neighborhoods so special. We love seeing our local moms and entrepreneurs thriving in every corner of the DSISD!
Gratitude for the Journey
Amber ended the show with some incredibly sweet words about my role as a “community enthusiast.” I honestly didn’t expect to get emotional, but she almost made me cry! I truly love this community and spend so many hours supporting our local businesses and neighbors because I believe in what we have here. From the Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library to our local sports teams, it is an honor to be involved!
This episode was just a small snippet of the incredible women we have in Dripping Springs. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such talent, grit, and heart!
Make sure to go out and support these ladies this week! Grab a charcuterie board, book a Pilates class, or head over to the powerlifting meet on Saturday! Let’s show these “baddies in business” some major love!
See you next Tuesday at 2:00 PM for the next Weekly Drip!
