The sun is out, the Texas sky is that perfect shade of big and blue, and I am currently watching my pup chase a lizard across the porch… honestly, it is the best kind of chaos! Did you know that Dripping Springs actually has the largest Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) in the entire state of Texas? It is a true story! Way back in the 70s, when Austin started growing like crazy, Dripping looked up and said, “Yeah, we do not want to be Austin.” So they created this massive, “daisy chain” map that looks like Swiss cheese to keep our local identity strong. Because we serve the largest area in Texas, we have plenty of room for our four-legged friends to roam!
